According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Nov. 1, 12:22 a.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “RP reported shoplifter in progress, officers located suspect, he was cited in lieu of custody,” 37-year old Ricky D. Flowers, Coos Bay, charged with Theft III (value $20.33). “Subject was also warned for Criminal Trespass (for the church) and was permanently trespassed from all Safeways.”
