On Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at approximately 9:10 am, the Douglas County 9-1-1 center received a report of a structure fire at 124 Mary Kay Lane #2, in Drain. Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the scene along with law enforcement. Emergency personnel arrived to discover a travel trailer fully engulfed in flames. During the course of the investigation it was learned that the resident of the travel trailer, 45 year-old Tracy Renee Heyen, intentionally set the trailer on fire. The blaze caused damage to a neighbor’s vehicle and property. Heyen was arrested without incident and charged with Arson I, Reckless Burning and Reckless Endangering. She was lodged in the Douglas County Jail.
