Multiple cars parked on the streets of Junction City were vandalized between the hours of 11:30 PM Friday night, December 30, 2016, and 3:00 AM Saturday morning. Only the left-rear tail lights on multiple vehicles were smashed with some type of an object. It appears the victim vehicles were selected entirely at random. Since only lights nearest to the street were damaged, it seems to indicate the suspect(s) were either riding a bike or were the passenger in a moving vehicle. If one learns a vehicle in their neighborhood was damaged, and they have video surveillance cameras that capture video from street and area in front of their home, we request you review such recordings to determine if any useful information was obtained. Anyone with information that could possible identify the person(s) responsible for these crimes is requested to contact the Junction City Police Department at 541-998-1245.
