Siuslaw beat Marshfield 3-2 in a Far West League baseball opener for both teams Tuesday in Coos Bay. On Monday, North Bend beat visiting South Umpqua 4-3, and Brookings-Harbor won at Douglas 6-4. Doubleheaders involving the same teams are scheduled for Friday.
