Visiting North Medford swept through the Bay Area Tuesday night and won a pair of non-conference prep basketball games against Marshfield. The Pirate boys lost 60-41. Marshfield (1-1) opens the Les Schwab South Coast Holiday Basketball Tournament Thursday night, 8:45 p.m. against North Valley. The Lady Pirates lost to the Black Tornado 41-30. Marshfield (3-1) opens the Les Schwab South Coast Holiday Basketball Tournament Thursday, 7 p.m., against Junction City.
