North Bend junior-to-be Ty Hampton placed sixth (198-07) at the 2017 USATF Junior Outdoor National Track & Field Championships Thursday, June 22, in Sacramento, CA. Liam Christensen (SC) won the event at 225-08. Hampton placed fourth recently at the New Balance Outdoors Nationals in North Carolina. An event Christensen also won, but at 228-feet.
