According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, June 16, 3:04 p.m., 2500 block Newmark St., “intoxicated male driver in brown RV just left the College Park Church parking lot, traffic stop,” 51-year old Mark Kavert taken into custody and cited for DUII, Reckless Driving and DWS Misdemeanor. “Referred to DA for Reckless Endangering. Subject released from NBPD, vehicle secured on scene.”
Burglary
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, June 16, 4:03 p.m., 1000 block Lombard St., “theft of purse, report taken for burglary.”
Illegal Camping
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, June 17, 3:49 a.m., 2800 Oak St., “officer out with portable doing security check at Park. Officer located 3 subjects camping in bathrooms. Female cited in lieu of custody,” 49-year old Anita J. Vagallos, Coos Bay, cited for Criminal Trespass II. “Female and second male subject were warned for Offensive Littering, male subject also permanently trespassed from all City Parks. First male subject warned for Criminal Trespass, courtesy teletype sent to his PO, all subjects left upon request.”
