The Oregon State baseball team is Omaha bound for the sixth time in the program’s history. The top-seeded Beavers defeated Vanderbilt 9-2 on Saturday in front of a packed Goss Stadium at Coleman Field crowd of 3,734, sending Oregon State to the 2017 College World Series. Oregon State (54-4 overall) is slated to take on Cal State Fullerton (39-22) at the NCAA College World Series in Omaha in the opening round this weekend. The complete NCAA bracket will be announced Monday night at 8 p.m. PT.
