Both of Oregon’s basketball teams are still alive in the NCAA basketball tournaments. The Duck men advanced to the Final Four for the first time since 1939 with a stunning 74-60 win over the Midwest Regionals top seed Kansas, Saturday night in Kansas. Oregon (33-5) will next play on Saturday, April 1, 6 p.m., against North Carolina from Phoenix, AZ. The Oregon women advanced to the Elite 8 round with a 77-63 win over No. 3 seed Maryland Saturday morning in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The Ducks (23-13) play Monday, 4 p.m., ESPN, against defending champion UConn.

Oregon State’s women fell in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA basketball tournament Saturday 66-53 to Florida State at Stockton, CA. The Beavers finish the season with a 31-5 record.
