Quakes, Feb. 23

A 4.8-magnitude earthquake shook the northern end of two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast early Thursday morning, Feb. 23.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located southwest of Port Hardy, Canada in the Pacific Ocean.  A 4.2-magnitude quake was also recorded in the Puget Sound area of Washington, west of Belfair, WA.
